KHTML->Webkit->MS killer
Google Chrome beta web-browser.

Official Build 1583
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.13 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/0.2.149.27 Safari/525.13

Maybe MS starts now to get afraid of open source. They have a FAQ about licensing here up as well. Sadly (once again) webkit only references Apple, but at least we're in the browser id string.

Why are ou talking that kde have anything to do with WebKit? It was forked long time ago, is it Apple fork still mantained by kde developers? If they use Apple fork why should they mention kde? Why not to mention Trolltech, Nokia, Adobe then? It is opensource and if you do something you could get nothing for it)

I've been running Chrome as my default browser since it hit. As a web developer, it was important to get to know how it works and what quirks it has -- but even after poking at it, it's stayed my default browser. It's lean, quick, intuitive, and just as stable as Firefox (which isn't a compliment). There are some obvious shortcomings, but there aren't any problems I can see which won't be addressed in the near future.
